The Alfa Romeo Spider “type 4” is currently one of the most popular of the classic spider series. Built from 1990 to 1993 according to classic recipe with some essential updates such as assisted power steering, fuel injection and modern bumpers it is an ideal mixture of the old and the new.
The 1992 black Spider we have here was sourced in Germany and has recently been acquainted with the Dutch tarmac. This Spider has clocked up only 93,996 km and is a very healthy example. This is a car to enjoy driving and taking it to the 100,000 mark in no time. The bodywork’s condition is very good and unadulterated.
The interior trim is very neat with its condition consistent with its age and mileage. This 30 year old lady has no defects. The sit is great, it has a nice wooden steering wheel, black upholstery and with the hood folded down emanates the feeling of la Dolce Vita to a tee.
Mechanically this Spider has always enjoyed its due attention, even though it has not had a lot of use in recent times and would benefit from dotting the I’s to bring it up to standard. Nothing shocking or urgent just some Tender Love and Care as the British so nicely put it. It is certainly worthy of your love as this Spider is very good.
