Description
Leaving the Works on 20th June 1933 despatched to Harris and Day of Cardiff then to the first owner Llewlyn Davies of Aberayron there followed three other keepers until its last owner in Basildon. Records reveal the car requiring restoration and its engine requiring attention in the early 1970`s . Subsequently a replacement engine and restoration saw the car purchased by the last owner in 1984 since when it has been maintained to a high standard over the years winning trophies along the way.
The Firefly model was made for just over two years with 873 produced in all forms. With a strong 1500cc engine it was comfortable rather than quick. This car is fitted with the Wilson pre-selector gearbox which provides smooth relaxed driving.
This car has been well-loved , includes a number of personalised features and represents an outstanding 1930`s saloon at a sensible price.
