1989 PORSCHE 911S BACKDATED TO 1973 911 S (1989) For sale from Clark and Carter Restorations, in Essex, United Kingdom

Starting out as a 3.2 Carrera, the Porsche has been reimagined as a back date to capture the essence of the 1970s. Commissioned in 2008, the body was stripped back to bare metal and all corrosion has been dealt with accordingly, including new panels being fabricated and all door frames and seals have undergone anodizing. The gearbox and engine have been subject to a full rebuild, which sees the car uprated from a 3.2 to a 3.4 completed with a bespoke exhaust system and electrical steering conversion.
The black interior has been reinstated to 1973 specification with replica sports seats, genuine door trims and pockets, whilst the rear seats have been retrimmed to match. All the modern capabilities have been equipped to this 911 S, including a Becker Mexico radio to give it that period look, a bespoke air conditioning upgrade, central locking and immobiliser.
The 911S is finished in period Aubergine and is completed with a set of iconic 16” Fuchs wheels with Porsche centre caps.
