Description

1971 Porsche 911T 2.2 coupe LHD

Originally supplied and still in it’s current and totally stunning, Pastel blue (code 2020) with black leatherette interior. Current mileage showing 76,720.

Production date 15/10/1970, this is a USA specification car that was imported to the UK in 2014 with only one UK owner since importation.

The Porsche COA confirms the following:
Comfort pack which included:
Velour carpets, aluminum door sills, 911s rubber moldings to bumpers and below doors, chrome rocker panels, 911s instruments, rubber bumperettes, leather covered steering wheel.
Antenna and speaker
Tinted windscreen and side glass
Air conditioner unit (dash unit and front pan unit is still in place but has now been decommissioned)
Superbly polished 15” Fuchs alloys with all new tyres

Selling on behalf of a customer this is a superb matching numbers car including it’s original 2.2ltr engine and original 901 dog leg gearbox.
The car has had a decent amount of investment over it’s years and has been restored in the recent past back in the USA.
The most recent work has been completed here in the UK consisting of in depth general mechanical service work and a considerable engine rebuild completed by well know Porsche specialist Crispin Manners of Oak Tree garage to the tune of over £12k. The long list of service work is available upon request.

Having had money spent correctly this makes for a reliable, solid drivers car that represents a well maintained 911T that’s ready for its new owner to enjoy immediately knowing many of the “big bills” and “unknowns” have already been taken care of and an ideal LHD 911 that is worthy of a special European road trip.

The interior is excellent and many of the panels are in remarkably excellent condition or have been re-trimmed sympathetically to keep the original charm and patina of the black leatherette. All new carpets and mats.

The seats are in excellent condition, the dash top does have a few small cracks but is generally very good, door bins, parcel shelf and side panels are all in great condition.
The bright work is all excellent and many of the rubbers have been replaced as well as the deco strips so it presents exceptionally well against the stunning pastel blue.

The excellent dog leg 5 speed 901 gearbox shifts extremely well with no issues and the newly refurbished engine pulls superbly and topped off with the recent addition of the Dansk S/S rear box.

The paint presents a great depth of shine and is decent overall but has a few minor paint blemishes mainly on the offside rear qtr but this doesn’t detract from its excellent solid overall appearance. The underside is solid as are all the usual bodywork areas these suffer from.
Door gaps are great and overall this is a very appealing 911

A lovely handling and reliable drivers car and one of my favourite 911’s I have had the pleasure of selling in a long time and will certainly put a smile on your face and brighten up any cloudy day. Inspected and prepared ready to drive away today.
