A third Classic Car Boot Sale has been announced following the resounding success of the first two events, and it is set to be bigger and better than ever. It is due to take place on 20-21 September.
Due to the huge popularity of the inaugural show and its follow-up, both of which were held at London's South Bank Centre, organisers have decided to move to a bigger location – the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. A greater number of traders, classics and visitors are expected, with better access promised by the state-of-the-art venue, which will house dozens of cars, buses and campers in the shadow of Zaha Hadid's imposing London Aquatics Centre.
As with previous meetings, the Classic Car Boot Sale promises top notch vintage fashion, records and ephemera traded from an impressive exhibit of classic cars. There will also be impromptu music performances, street theatre, and some of the best street food the capital has to offer.
There's still plenty of time to get involved, and organisers are encouraging anyone who owns a pre-1989 classic, camper or caravan and who wants to trade from it to get in touch. There are also limited spaces for those who wish simply to show off their pride and joy.
