Competition 2-seater.
Originally the 'High Speed' or 'Competition' model, but given a new name after its 1949 Le Mans third place. Stark Bristol-powered (three carburettors and 120bhp in competition spec) sports car with cycle wings: engine differs from 'cooking' versions in having bigger valves and ports, magnesium sump. Mk II has new parallel-tube frame; De Dion rear from 1953. Expensive.
