Sunbeam

Sunbeam
SUNBEAM ALPINE MK IIA

Roadster.

Stiffened 90 chassis with two-seater open body, manual choke/ignition advance, high-compression 80bhp engine, louvres to bonnet top, straight-through silencer and geared-up steering. Overdrive standard from autumn '54, but column shift, alas, compulsory. Always Sunbeam badged, and not cheap, though good 90s still can be. At 26 1/2 cwt, a little on the heavy side for a two-seater.
