Austin-Healey

Austin-Healey
AUSTIN-HEALEY SPRITE MK IV

2-seater sports.

Last of the long-running Abingdon-built line (1971 cars were austins, then oblivion),  with equivalent badge-engineered MG Midgets from 1961. Compact little sports cars with A-Series engine and A35-style front suspension, this model had very strong long-stroke engine. Best seller for BMC, especially in USA. Cramped for some, cheap open-air fun for all.
