MORRIS 1800/2200 (18-22 SERIES)

4-door 5-seater saloon.

Very short-lived (as Morris) wedge-styled ADO71 series, being the first post-nationalisation BL model. Compared with old 'Landcrab', a much more elegant style, this time with Hydragas suspension. Choice of 1.8-litre 'B', or silky 2.2-litre E6 overhead cam engines, manual or automatic transmission. Compared with Austin and Wolseley derivatives, Morris 'wedge' had its own distinctive four-headlamp nose. Like others, rebadged as Princess for 1976 season.
