In its way, a fast and distinctive sporting coupé, effectively a Rapier with 105bhp Holbay-tuned engine (and twin Weber carbs) later shared with the Hunter GLS, plus Rostyle wheels and firmer suspension. Closer-ratio gearbox, with standard overdrive, was nice, though rather pseudish boot-lid spoiler was not. 106mph with 0-60mph in 11 seconds was good but couldn't match Lotus-Cortina. Too heavy to be a competition car, too cramped to be an executive car, which explains its limited sales. A few good ones still survive.
