Though called by the same name as the '1500' model, this Corona had a 1.9-litre overhead-cam 'four' giving 100bhp, with all-synchro box, front discs, and a 100mph top speed. At 14ft 2in long, a head-to-head Cortina 2-litre competitor - and at a considerable disadvantage. From late '70 to 1972 a slow-selling coupé was also available - but we can't find many people who care about preserving these for posterity.
