Last of the slim, smooth and fast (100mph-plus) Vitesse 2-litres, the Mk II version having the cheap but effective lower-wishbone type of ifs, which gave excellent road-holding. In spite of up-market sports saloon tag, this Vitesse was still rather a basic though comfortable car. Recognisable by slant-eyed quad headlamps and slatted grille, and dummy Rostyle wheels.
