Typical British late-vintage effort with  magneto ignition, right-hand-change, four-speed 'box, central accelerator and rounded-vee radiator: engine also used in Lagonda's 16/80. Complex range includes Shelsley sports saloons and tourers with cycle wings and elaborate headlamp bracing. All Silvers are coachbuilt six-light saloons, some late ones with pre-selector.
