DERBY L8

Roadster, sports saloon, coupé, cabriolet.

Lepicard's second front-drive Derby design, in effect an enlarged L2 with the same Bendix brakes, transverse springing, and four-speed 'box. Unusual 90-degree engine with overhead exhaust valves and twin horizontal Solexes. A 20cwt saloon should have been fast: coupés styling pure SSI. Shown London '33, but none currently reported from this country.
