DONNET C1-7

Tourer, coupé, saloon.

Sainturat-designed family car with thermosyphon cooling, 12-volt coil ignition, four-speed 'box, mechanical brakes, and disc wheels. Never a best seller anywhere and very seldom seen in Britain, though odd thirties examples still turn up across the Channel, and the make's principally remembered because Henri Pigozzi of Simca bought the Nanterre factory. Similar 1.8-litre (C10) and 2½-litre (K14) sixes also theoretically available in Britain.
