High compression edition of the good old seven-bearing six (65bhp nearer the truth than the advertised 80) with twin horizontal Solexes fitted into a lowered short chassis with friction instead of hydraulic dampers. Free wheel and thermostatic shutters as on later (1932/3) standard 522s. Good for 80mph, though finicky on modern fuels Saloons are pillarless and just about as close-coupled as you can get.
