Attractive if unspectacular assembled machine from St Louis with five-bearing, 100bhp Lycoming engine, a choice of three-or four-speed 'boxes, vacuum feed, and hydraulic brakes. '31s carry the 148 designation but are otherwise identical. Also available as a 3-litre 'six'  or 5-litre 'eight' on similar lines. Company went broke in '31, but British buyers' guide listings continued till 1936!
