LAMMAS 3½-LITRE

Sports tourer, sports saloon, drophead coupé.

Lord Avebury's Anglo-American looks like an overgrown Jaguar with its centre-lock wire wheels. Underneath, it's a modified centrifugally-blown Graham Cavalier featuring a special alloy head, SU carburettor, 12-volt electrics, lowered frame, raked steering column, and ride-control shockers. Bodies by Carlton, Abbott, and Bertelli, razor-edge styling on '38 saloons. 3.2-litre engine quoted 1938, but no evidence that this was actually fitted.
