Detachable-head engine (ten mains) derived from the 23. Dual choke carburation dual ignition and servo brakes, plus a 142ins wheelbase. 75mph easy, close on 90 with lighter bodies. The best of the late Vintage straight-eights and not to be confused with the badge-engineered Daimler-Lanchester Eights (1935/38) built for assorted royalty.
