Lancia
LANCIA ASTURA SERIES 1-3

4-light saloon, 6-light saloon, various specials.

Another of Lancia's seemingly retrograde designs, with a small 74bhp V8 and silent third gearbox in a separate chassis frame (à la Dilambda). Usual sliding pillar ifs with a live rear axle. Third series cars had the 3-litre engine and servo hydraulic brakes. All had 12-volt electrics, and were good for around 75mph. Early factory saloons look very much like the more mundane Alfa saloons, handsome rather than spectacular; by 1935, wings were skirted, and the traditional radiator has been replaced by a more modern design.
