MATHIS PY

2-door saloon, coupé de luxe, drophead coupé, drophead coupé de luxe.

This car suffered from the RAC's absurd taxation system in this country, being rated as 13hp (the same large Austin 12) because of its near square cylinder dimensions. Cars destined for Britain were fitted with mechanical brakes, although some home market cars had hydraulics. 94ins wheelbase standard, as were gravity fuel feed and a 5 to 1 back axle. Styling still uninspired.
