Open 2-seater, open 4-seater, Airline coupé.
It's a new engine in an old, albeit lengthened, frame. Always limiting the J-type was its two bearing crank, so the P-type had three main bearings, giving greater smoothness and tuning potential. Wheelbase was increased 1 3/16ins compared to the J2, Bishop cam steering replaced the more usual Marles-Weller type, there was a four star diff, better clutch and 12ins brakes. Delightful looking with its swept wings. Recessed trafficators were fitted, 75mph attainable, it still behaved like a throroughbred, and the Airline coupé was an interesting and pretty body style. You can tell '35 models by the large rpm figures on the combined speedo/tacho: '34 cars have large mph figures.
