The last year of the famous Flatnose, as introduced for 1927 and utilizing the Hotchkiss-type 11.9hp engine of the preceding Bullnose in a revised chassis with semi-elliptic springing. For 1931 radiator is taller and windscreen shallower, with modified chassis, all to commonalise components with newly introduced six-cylinder variant, the Morris Major. Still with artillery wheels, though wires available as option and standard on folding-head saloon by mid-1931. Flatnoses one of the first late-vintage 'cooking' cars to have cult status thrust upon them, so prices are quite high for those still in circulation.
