Opel
OPEL KADETT (1937-39)

Standard saloon, Master 2-door saloon, Master 4-door saloon, Master 4-door drophead saloon.

Standard model was in effect an updated P4 with its sidevalve motor and beam axles, though there was a different body with waterfall grille on early models, hydraulic dampers and 'Easi-clean' wheels. The Master model has ifs, neither model had synchro, but both had hydraulic brakes and unit construction. An excellent cheap hack, and it provided the basis for the Soviet Government's original post-war Moskvitch.
