OPEL SUPER SIX

4-door saloon, 2-door saloon, foursome drophead coupé, convertible cabriolet.

Michael Sedgwick called this one 'a modern compact of the sort that America craves (but seldom buys)', and in essence it was a small American from the styling through to the solid sidevalve engine. Three-speed 'box was fitted, very much in keeping with Yank image, there was a cruciform braced frame with that by now familiar suspension set up, and one or two specialist bodies were very attractive, such as those by Glaser of Dresden.
