Fairly standard middle-of-the-road offering from GM, with its compound curves, turret top styling, knee action ifs, fencer's mask grille and solid, reliable sidevalve six-cylinder motor. '36 models distinguished from '35s by chrome grille bars swept back over the bonnet, and they don't have suicide doors. 75mph possible, and the car also came with a synchro 'box, hydraulics and six-volt electrics.
