RAILTON EIGHT (1937-39)

Sandown saloon, Cobham saloon, Stratton saloon, University limousine, Claremont drophead coupé, Fairmile drophead coupé, Carrington drophead coupé.

Utilising the 122 or 129ins wheelbase Deluxe Hudson chassis with 124bhp engine the Railton began to put on more weight, so much so that a '38 'razor edge' Cobham was less accelerative than a standard Hudson Eight. All came with the three speed 'box and remote gear change. The Sandown saloon at £498 was the cheapest in the range.
