RENAULT KZ
Saloon, 7-seater saloon, coupé.
Slightly less stodgy than the Monasix, the engine was splashin-lubricated and destined to have a long life in other Renaults through the thirties. Reliable and robust, it was capable of 60mph, but those brakes weren't too sure of themselves. Six-volt electrics were standard, it came with unit construction in '31, and for some reason was known as the Speed Four in '32, by which time the car had gone American and was now sporting a Detroit style grill. Rather dull.
