Up-dated version of Riley's immortal Nine, '30s Mark IV had strengthened side members and saw the introduction of cable and pulley brakes, while the Monaco had a boot blended with the rear of the body '31 models had a new dash with inset metal instrument panel, there was grouped chassis lubrication and the new 'Plus Ultra' model had another new frame with side members dropped 6ins to give more headroom.
