ROVER 2-LITRE (1929-30)

Weymann saloon, coachbuilt saloon, sportsman's coupé, 4-seat sports tourer, 2-seat sports tourer, limousine.

Nothing special about this one, either, with 60mph just possible. Engine had four bearings and coil ignition, semi-elliptics were fitted all round, there was spiral bevel final drive and two wheelbases: 118ins and a long 130ins. From '30 a four speed 'box was available, for the princely sum of £7 on top of the £400 you'd need to buy a four-seat tourer. Regal versions also available, one 'goody' being a 'carella', a fitted brolly and case for ladies.
