ROVER METEOR 16HP/20HP

2-seat tourer, 4-seat tourer, sportsman's saloon, coachbuilt saloon, limousine, Hastings coupé.

Nothing special, but in many ways marks a turn-about in Rover fortunes. Smaller engine and freewheels available from '33 on, with large engine running for four seasons in this chassis. Frame had 118ins wheelbase, as per 2-litre, there were vacuum servo brakes on Regal models, semi-elliptics all round, and the four bearing engine had coil ignition. Wire wheels standard equipment, as were hydraulic dampers. Hastings coupé was a notchback with four window cabin.
