SINGER 14/6

Saloon, saloon de luxe, Continental saloon.

14/6 used the same chassis as the 12/4 but now had more urge from four-bearing ohc 'six'. Apparently it was 'The ideal car for the tired businessman of moderate means who has to drive himself home from the office after a hard day', not that many men of moderate means in 1934 had £199. The pre-selected clutchless gearchange was optional, but came as standard on the higher trim level de luxe model, which was distinguishable by horizontal spear type louvres.
