STANDARD LITTLE NINE

Saloon, special saloon, close coupled saloon, 2-seater tourer, 4-seater tourer, coupé.

Baby of the range, still with two main bearings, coil ignition, six-volt electrics, three speed 'box with silent second ratio, and cart sprung frame. '33s had 12-volt electrics and four speed silent third 'boxes. Overall a worthy little car, the 55mph top whack may not have been stunning, but de luxes were well equipped with such accessories as a 'hat cord' and cigar lighter. It cost all of £155in standard form and had light and delicate steering.
