STUTZ BLACKHAWK

2-door saloon, 4-door saloon, Weymann saloon, fixed-head coupé, cabriolet coupé, speedster.

Alias the LA/LLA models, real quality offerings from the Indianapolis based firm. Frame was on a 127½ins wheelbase, utterly conventional with semi-elliptics all round, Lockheed hydraulic brakes, worm final drive, and the single ohc 'six' pushed out a healthy 85bhp, good enough for over 80mph. Fixed-head coupé cost £830, and the speedster was a thing of real beauty.
