Sunbeam-Talbot

Sunbeam-Talbot
SUNBEAM-TALBOT TEN (1938-40)

Saloon, drophead coupé, sports tourer.

A Hillman Minx in Talbot clothing. '38 Tens had pressed steel wheels, the wings became heavier and more rounded, and the headlamps were bolted directly onto the radiator surround. More importantly as far as the car's sporting appeal went, the four-speed 'box was replaced by a three-speed synchro affair, and the original tasteful wooden dash was now in Bakelite. Plus point is present day availability of spares.
