Trojan

Trojan
TROJAN RE

Tourer, saloon.

Strange device, with rear mounted two-stroke engine driving forward by chain to a dead rear axle. Quite attractive looking, with low build and a long 'bonnet'. 'Box was three-speed epicylic, and the genuine radiator at the front was connected to the engine by a mass of pipes that doubled as an interior heater. Bad reputation for overheating, two wheel brakes and 45mph top speed meant poor sales.
