VAUXHALL I TWELVE-FOUR

Saloon.

Add an extra 7ins of wheelbase to a Ten and you get roomier six-light saloon, though mechanics the same as the smaller car with torsion bars at the front (handling unimproved) and three speeds only. Spare wheel was mounted on the boot lid, and the car was as fast as the superseded 12/6 and gave a frugal 35mpg. '40 season models have divided grilles.
