WANDERER W25K

Sports 2-seater.

Attempts to challenge the BMW 328 in the 2-litre sports car class, this one was available in both blown and unblown forms, with 85bhp on tap for the normally aspirated version. Frame was a short 104 1/4ins, with DKW type transverse leaf independent suspension all round not particulary elegant. Although the car was capable of 90mph, the gearbox's awkward syncromesh defeated even Auto Union GP driver Bernd Rosemeyer.
