WILLYS MODEL 38

5-seater, saloon, coupé, enclosed limousine.

Spot the difference underneath - it was confined to synchromesh (at long last!) and Bendix duo-servo brakes. Otherwise, it had the same engine and frame as the 77. By now the firm had survived one receivership. The restyled car had a peculiar concave grille. Its best feature was the very low price on its home market, which wasn't duplicated over here - base saloons cost £247.
