Specialist coachbuilders like Eustace Watkins and Swallow clothed these. Chassis wasn't modified, but that's to the use of twin cards, high compression pistons and duplex valve springs the engine gave 45bhp, enough to endow the standard EW Daytona two-seater with a top speed of 75mph - all for £275. Very much a promenade sports car.
