WOLSELEY EIGHTEEN
Saloon.
Listed at £340, this one had yet another seven bearing ohc engine, mated to a four-speed 'box, all installed in a 110ins wheelbase frame with freewheel fitted. The boot was described in the catalogue as a 'spare wheel container', and Michael Sedgwick claimed that the car 'had nothing to commend it'. However, it did have a long list of standard equipment, including trafficators, twin horns and built in luggage rack.
