Being one of only 68 right-hand-drive Bentley S3 Continental Fyling Spurs ever built would make this car special enough to grace almost any collection in the world, but the fact that it was previously owned by Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards resulted in excitement reaching fever pitch when it rolled by the rostrum at Bonhams’ Goodwood Revival sale.
The car – named after Richards’ favourite singer, Lena Horne – sold for an impressive £763,100. But not before we had the chance to test it on the road, and to delve into its fascinating history. To discover more about the car, pick up the current issue of Classic & Sports Car (October 2015).
