Seven decades of motorsport were represented at the second Double Twelve on 5-6 June.
More than 150 drivers and 3500 visitors gathered at Brooklands to celebrate the 24-hour races held there in the '20s and '30s.
Pete Candy's '36 Riley Special Super Rat came out on top at the Brooklands Speed Trials on the Saturday, only 0.2 secs ahead of Terry Crabb's ex-Lord Howe ERA R12C. The latter raced at Brooklands in period.
Star of the event was Chris Jaques' '26 Bugatti Type 35, which pipped the Derby Bentley of C&SC's Simon Taylor to overall honours - combining the results of five driving tests and a concours.
Other highlights among the 12 classes included Georg Gebhard's '35 Alfa Jankovits special and Peter Rea's freshly restored 1907 Napier T21 60hp.
The Napier is thought to be the car driven by Frank Newton and F Draper in a 1907 24-hour record attempt at Brooklands.
