The 2000-mile London-Lisbon reliability trial and tour is back on the rally calendar after a six-year break.
The Historic Endurance Rallying Organisation (HERO) will revive the much-missed event in 2013, running from 27 April to 5 May and starting with a fanfare in London's Hyde Park.
The event will be open to all pre-1984 classics and run in two categories: the Reliability Trial and the (slightly) more gentle Classic Car Tour.
Tomas de Vargas Machuca, managing Director of HERO, said: "We are proud to announce the return of the London-Lisboa Classic. It will combine a 2091 mile route through stunning landscapes with challenging tests and will attract some amazing cars from all over the world."
The entry fee includes accommodation and evening meals, lunches, ferries and most other costs. You can even hire a car do the event in from HERO.
