A modified 1937 Mercedes 540K will cross the block at Russo and Steele’s Scottsdale sale from 16-20 January.
The "spectacular customization" is the work of the award-winning John Slaughter, who has being plying his trade since the 1950s.
His latest creation comes fitted with a V10 Viper engine and includes a tube frame with Corvette suspension, dual fans, plus a custom-built transmission cooler and air condenser.
Inside, there’s a ‘hand-built’ dashboard with Viper switches and gauges along with a Viper steering column (including the wheel), Saab seats and a 300watt stereo.
