Anglia Car Auctions signed-off 2014 in fine style with its last sale of the year by offering a massive selection of classics to suit every budget on 1 November.
More than 160 cars were sold out of a total 215 offered, with a record-breaking £1.39m changing hands so far.
ACA is well-known for catering for the affordable end of the classic market, but that didn't stop a number of lots reaching impressive figures during the auction. Top of the tree was a 1987 Ferrari Testarossa that sold for £67,725.
The Ferrari was followed closely by a 1956 XK140, which sold for £63,000.
An aluminium-bodied D-type replica wasn't too far behind, selling for £53,550 – almost double its pre-sale lower estimate. The price achieved was all the more remarkable after seeing the condition of the car – it was a big project requiring a great deal of finishing.
A Jaguar E-type Series II Coupé was the next best-selling Jaguar at £46,725, but it was pipped to the post by a 1979 Porsche 930 Turbo, which sold for £50,400.
British classics also fared well at the sale, with a 1958 Sunbeam Rapier Convertible nearly doubling its pre-sale lower estimate of £8500 to sell for £15,540.
A 1959 Austin A40 Farina was the subject of a fierce bidding war that drove the hammer price far beyond the £4500-5250 estimate to just short of £10,000.
A 1980 MGB GT followed a trend for low-mileage classics at recent ACA sales. The 117-mile car sold for £9240.
Of the more than half a dozen Minis on offer, a 1964 Austin Mini with just 70,804 miles on the clock looked like the best buy at £6825. It had been with its previous owner for seven years, and was fully restored 10 years ago.
Also going for a song was a 1965 Daimler 250 V8. The car had just come out of long-term ownership and was sold for just £3780.
A 1976 Ford Capri 3.0 Ghia sold on estimate for £4410. It was described as being in lovely condition, and had just over 30,000 miles on the clock.
A very handsome 1967 Triumph TR4A was snapped up for £10,500.
Organisers of the sale had a treat in store for the 1700 visitors in the form of a raffle, with the main prize being a 1998 Jaguar XJR. The supercharged V8 was won by Ray Bateman from Cromer.
"I'm completely overwhelmed," said Bateman. "I read about the raffle and was handed a ticket when I arrived, but you never think you're going to win. When they called my number I couldn't believe it. The car is gorgeous and I'll be pinching myself for the rest of the weekend."
