Salon Privé opens to public for first time

Organisers of the 10th Salon Privé, which takes place from 3-5 September 2015, have announced that the show will be opening to the public for the first time – as well as changing venue.

The addition of a dedicated Public Day comes hot on the heels of news that the event will be moving from its recent home at Syon Park to the birthplace of Winston Churchill – Blenheim Palace. The 18th century UNESCO World Heritage site sits within 2000 acres of Oxfordshire countryside.

The new location is expected to attract even more collectors and enthusiasts, and its more central position should make the event more accessible to more people.

"We're confident of seeing a visible increase in visitor numbers," said sales director David Bagley. "A further key development for this year's event sees a newly configured show area on the south lawn. With Blenheim Palace as the backdrop, the setting is nothing short of spectacular. Fully enclosed, it will enable us to fully integrate manufacturer displays with the concours."
