World renowned automotive artist Tim Layzell has unveiled his latest stunning work – a vivid poster that sets the scene for the calendar’s most anticipated new event: Classic & Sports Car – The London Show.
The striking painting depicts a Jaguar E-type, a Bentley Speed Six and a McLaren F1 on a full-blooded drive through the grounds of the historic Alexandra Palace, where the show is set to be held from 30 October to 1 November.
Each of the models featured in the artwork is in contention to be crowned the Best British Car Ever, which will be decided by a global vote – click here to cast yours. The winner will be announced at the event, where a stunning example will be on display throughout the course of the weekend, while 25 lucky entrants will win a pair of free tickets to the show.
Seven other British legends are also in the running, including the Mini Cooper ’S’, Range Rover and Jaguar XKSS, with voting closing on 1 August.
“We are very proud to have Tim Layzell create this amazing piece of unique artwork,” said Classic & Sports Car group editor James Elliott. “I’ve been a fan of his for some time now, having seen his incredible talent displayed at events such as Pebble Beach, the Monaco Grand Prix and the Goodwood Revival, to name just three.”
