The theme for this year’s Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show has been revealed as ‘Heroes and Heroines’, and is poised to inspire a raft of stunning club displays at the headline event, which will be held at Birmingham’s NEC from 11-13 November.
“Everyone has a hero, something or somebody that inspires of encourages them,” said show director Dan Nwaokolo. “With the timing of this year’s show being remembrance weekend, we simply had to recognise the brave men and women who served their country, so this theme was the perfect choice.”
More than 250 clubs will be exhibiting at the event, with displays honouring captains of industry and landmark designers through to Land Speed Record legends and racing heroes.
Lancaster Insurance operations director Richard Morley said: “We’re really excited about this year’s theme as it gives real scope for clubs and exhibitors to make it their own and pay tribute to their own heroes and heroines. The show is one of the highlights of our year, which is why we signed up to be headline sponsor for the next three years, and we can’t wait to see how the theme is interpreted.”
