An incredible selection of supercars has been gathered at Alexandra Palace ahead of the second Classic & Sports Car Show, which will take over the historic London venue from 28-30 October.
Seven of the world’s finest supercars took to the palace grounds to promote the show’s centrepiece display, which celebrates A Century of Supercars. The multi-million pound convoy included a Lamborghini Miura, Bentley 4 1/2 Litre Blower, Ferrari F40, McLaren P1, Mercedes-Benz 300SL ‘Gullwing’, McLaren F1 and a Jaguar XK120.
In total, 11 supercars will go on display at the event, with the winner of the massive public vote to determine the Greatest Supercar Ever to be revealed live at the show.
In addition to the stellar lineup of supercars, this year’s event will also host a parade of motoring icons, which will see some of the most exclusive classics driven on a series of demonstration runs through the grounds of the palace. Running twice a day, the cars will set off from the Grove area before accelerating past the Palm Court entrance and continuing along the picturesque South Terrace.
This year’s Live Interview Stage is brought to you in partnership with Goodwood Road & Racing, and includes an incredible lineup of automotive and motor racing stars. Among the big names already confirmed to talk is Norman Dewis OBE, Jaguar’s legendary test driver. The raconteur will discuss his years behind the wheel, from the first experimental runs in the C- and D-types through to his high-speed crash in the unraced XJ13 in 1971.
